Take Back the Mailbox
I have killed the PennySaver, obliterated the credit card companies and have even stopped local advertisers from getting into my mailbox. I, however, have underestimated their cleverness because they have started reaching me again… get this… by sending it to MY MOM’S house. They are getting pretty desperate if they’re navigating my family tree trying to find a way to make me buy crap or spend money on some service I don’t need. Even the big Bay Area Mercedes-Benz dealer is in on the action.
Fortunately I found the cure and have taken every recommended step in order to getting these punks to stop it. Most of the forms are just simple online fill-it-in-and-click-submit forms, but there are a few numbers you have to call and there’s also an option for permanently removing your info from the cedit/insurance agencies (bliss!!!!). Women have Take Back the Night, I have Take Back the Mailbox!
In other news
I biked to the CalTrain station yesterday in support of the “Spare the Air” campaigne running in the area. My legs are still a little sore from my mountain bike being so inefficient on the pavement (and for being rather small for me). After being a little under the weather, I’m back on my workout routine. In the past 142 days I’ve lost 35 pounds and have started to tone up. I’m aiming for another 35 by Halloween, but given how much muscle I’ve added, I think something like 180 or 175 is more likely. Like the late Mitch Hedberg once said: “Where are all the during photos?”
